Experiences outside the classroom are an essential element of the Greater Boston Project and help to enrich our study of Boston. As much as possible, the field studies trips do not impact students' other classes, and many of the visits to local organizations and sites take place when our class meets for a double long block in the morning. The following locations are scheduled for this year's field studies; click to learn more about each site:
  • Needham Scavenger Hunt
  • Needham Historical Society
  • Boston Public Library & Leventhal Map Center
  • Chinese Historical Society of New England
  • Tours and Local Interviews in Boston Neighborhoods
  • Black Heritage Trail
  • Greater Boston Food Bank
  • West End Museum
