Professionalism (Collaboration and Self Direction)

Collaboration:
This multi-discipline skill has to do with working in large or small groups towards successful completion of a variety of tasks, a core practice in any subject. This learning goal will direct us to practice determining individual roles, making decisions, dynamics, providing feedback, and evaluation of the group's process and product. The rubric below gives the best sense of the expectations for achieving proficiency in this learning goal. The resource guide includes a number of suggestions and activities we use in class to get students to practice collaboration skills.
Self Directions:
This multi-discipline skill has to do with working effectively and respectfully within the demands of the course, a core practice in any subject. This learning goal will direct us to practice effective task management, taking initiative, exhibiting professionalism, and partaking in reflection on one's own work . The rubric below gives the best sense of the expectations for achieving proficiency in this learning goal.
