Current Events Discussions (CEDs)

Boston Today

3In GBP, we alternate our study between historical time periods and the modern goings on of the city proper. Part of our study of Boston today involves Current Events Discussions (CEDs), in which individual students present on relevant, contemporary issues related to cultural change and/or identity and perception. This mini-presentation and subsequent discussion allows students to practice their oral communication skills, as well as engage in conversations about precinct issues in their world.
